sometimes i feel that someone up there have a point to prove, and today is definitely one day when they decided to prove many points one shot. it’s like going into a hiatus and then suddenly decide to prove the point and compensate for all the breaks.

so here’s what happened today

1. The rain shoe.
i have this leather shoe, this brown aldo leather shoe. Each time i wear it, no matter how good the weather was, this shoe will summon the rain, no matter how.
So today, it was a sparsely clouded sunny sky, 10 mins into my ride, the sky swapped from bright to dark, and RAINED! it’s almost like to prove a point, it rained for only 10 mins.. 10 mins! and the bright sunny sun flash back.

2. The strong cable.
Most bike have two most important cable, the clutch and the brake cable. the work just like the bicycle brake cables. you squeeze them for the brakes to work. the brake’s works the exact same way. the clutches cable is then the cable that connect and disconnect the engine to the clutch thereby the wheel. and so today, this cable snapped while i was travelling. The last thing i expect to snap on my bike snapped! I was like, HOLY, CLUTCH NO TENSION, HOLY, I NEED TO SQUEEZE THROUGH TO STOP BY THE SIDE. HOLY IS THIS THING SO WEAK? i could feel the moment when the cable goes SNAPPED. and so i had to abandon bike, call tow and wait to collect the repaired bike tomorrow.

I only had this bike for what? 8 months? and it have done everything i need to be an expert in bikes parts and maintenance. it’s like i can now disassemble the whole thing and put it back together now. who’s bike gets a puncture just after you change it’s tire? who’s! and well, apparently mine did. My rear wheel went flat less than a week after i changed my tires.

And i fell the same day i got my new gear. it’s like, yup, i know this gear is good stuff, but they ain’t going to protect you completely, so here, i am going to make sure it rain the first day you buy it so that you will use it, and then i am going to make sure you skid so that you will fell so that you will know that it is not going to protect you completely.
