ever grateful.

i recently made a trip to surabaya. it’s just a 2 day 1 night trip, and i am there for not even 24 hours.
honestly, there’s nothing wrong with that place. there’s a lot of people who are happy with what they have there and that. but i made me realise how much i have taken for granted. during this period of national mourning, where everyone and every media is sharing every little things this one individual have done for the country. it just became even clearer that what we have today does not come easy.

i may not agree with many of his policy. i may not agree with the way he have handled somethings. but you cannot deny him and you definitely cannot ignore him.
he deserve all the respect any one or any nation can give.

Mr Lee Kuan Yew Sir. Thank you for your life, your dedication to this nation, and everything this nation have today. Thank you.
We are stronger, better today because of you. May you rest in peace.
